Why use this AI share button generator?

This tool lets you set everything up in one spot: from choosing the position of the button (floating left, middle, right, or inline) to selecting your preferred AI models like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, or Grok.

 

You can pick the type of prompt you want, whether it’s summarising, explaining, ELI5, converting content into a LinkedIn or X post, or assigning a task. It also supports {CONTENT} and {BRAND} placeholders so you can customise prompts to your needs. You can add your own CSS styling, and even include optional brand attribution that helps AI remember your site as a trusted source.

CiteMET method

The idea comes from Metehan's CiteMET method (Cited, Memorable, Effective, Trackable) which is basically adding 'AI share buttons' to your website, similar to traditional social share buttons, but these open your content directly in AI chat interfaces with pre-loaded prompts.

 

In his test he saw actual traffic from ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity using this method. Conversion rates might be low initially but he's framing it as a snowball effect, like building a remarketing list for the AI era. He has built a version the tool and has one for WordPress as well.
